Dr. Jurinke has over 10 years experience in the biotechnology industry, including start-up scenarios and positions with P&L responsibility in a publicly traded US biotechnology company.

He was with Sequenom, Inc. for about 10 years, holding positions in the R&D department, and following a move to San Diego in 2001, in Product Development. As Director of Product Development, he headed development and commercialization of the iPLEX® assay, a leading technology for SNP genotyping. In 2005 Dr. Jurinke assumed responsibility for global Product Management and Marketing. During his tenure annual revenue growth exceeded 30%. Dr. Jurinke joined caprotec bioanalytics in February 2008 as Director, Product Management.

Dr. Jurinke received his Master in Biochemistry and his Ph.D. from the University of Hamburg. His research focused on the development of methods to analyze DNA and RNA with MALDI TOF Mass Spectrometry. He authored over 30 scientific publications and holds several issued US and international patents.
