caprotec™ is pioneering an innovative, proprietary technology to reduce the complexity of biological samples through functional isolation of protein- or enzyme families.

Capture Compound Mass Spectrometry (CCMS) is using small synthetic molecules (Capture Compounds™) to interrogate native proteins, even lipophilic membrane proteins, in virtually any biological sample. CCMS Technology is made available to researches in several different configurations: caprotec provides pre-configured Capture Compounds™ as convenient, ready to use caproKits™. We offer custom made Capture Compounds™ for research applications and we are entering into collaborative projects to investigate small molecule or drug candidate protein interactions.

The CCMS Starter Kit allows an easy and convenient implementation of CCMS technology in your lab.

The Starter Kit contains a caproBox™ for incubating and UV cross-linking of Capture Compound™ and prey proteins, three caproKits™ of your choice, a caproMag™ for sample handling and a Biotin Capping Kit.


caprotec™ is continuously releasing caproKits targeting main enzyme families. The caproKits contain all necessary reagents to perform a complete CCMS Experiment, including all buffers, magnetic streptavidin beads, competitors and positive control proteins.

The caproKits are available in two different sizes with reagents to perform 50 or 10 individual reactions, respectively.
