The caproMag™ is a tool for separating magnetized particles (e.g. Streptavidin magnetic beads) from liquid samples in life science applications.

Biomolecules such as nucleic acids, proteins or peptides attached to magnetic beads can be separated from the solution of complex biological samples of different origin.

In contrast to most existing devcies, the caproMag pulls the magnetic beads to the lid of the reaction vessel. Beads are released into a fresh reaction vessel containing a wash solution without the need of pipettes or liquid handling devices.
